Acknowledgement of Traditional Owners

The acknowledgement to traditional owners is a recognition of the historical and cultural significance of Indigenous cultures in Australia; and their past, present and future contribution to the richness of Australian society. In the spirit of Reconciliation, the acknowledgement to traditional owners is an important protocol when QUT staff and students come together.

Have you got your new business card?

If you forgot to download the slide into your presentation at least you know you have a copy of the Acknowledgement to traditional owners with you all the time. The Equity Section now has business card size acknowledgements that you can carry in your purse or wallet to all QUT activities.

Email the Equity Section at equityenq@qut.edu.au for copies for all staff who undertake presentations, lectures and other events where the acknowledgement is an appropriate protocol.
